Begin Farming Scholarship Application for the OEFFA conference
Thanks to funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development Program (BFRDP), OEFFA is offering a limited number of full scholarships to attend OEFFA's annual conference (Feb.14-16, 2019 in Dayton, Ohio).
Eligibility: Must be an early career farmer (actively farming on your own or rented land for 10 years or less), working on a commercial or production scale farm, and committed to sustainable farming for a living. You must also be able to commit to attending both days of the conference. Note: each operation is only eligible for one scholarship.
Registration and meals will be covered by scholarships for February 15-16; travel and lodging are not included. Applications must be in by January 11, 2019. Award notifications will be made before the Early Bird Registration ends.
