Introduction
1 / 9 |
GMFRS have been leading a national working group to create an Apprenticeship Framework for Business Fire Safety Advisors under the Trailblazer banner.
The Trailblazer working group have worked together since August 2014 to develop a Level 3 Business Fire Safety Advisor Apprenticeship.
The Business Fire Safety Advisor Apprenticeship has been developed as a pathway into the Business Fire Safety arena for both operational and non-operational members of staff. The Apprenticeship content and level is based upon The Competency Framework for Business Fire Safety Regulators.
The Trailblazer standard is available online and was published in March 2015 using the guidance provided by Business Innovation & Skills (BIS).

The Trailblazer working group are now seeking your feedback on the Assessment Plan which accompanies the Business Fire Safety Advisor Apprentice Standard. The plan describes the end-point assessment for the apprenticeship standard and explains how we as employers intend to test full occupational competence.
We would really welcome your comments on the plan and its main elements before final submission is made to Business Innovation & Skills.
