Prepared by the AD HOC MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE of the BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Committee Members: Deborah Stutsman, Chair, Stephanie Buck, Lynne Copp, Kevin Davis, Peter Demuth, Catharine Jones, Danielle McMann (ex-officio), Boris Matthews, Don Troyer, and Grady Vaughan

In our attempts to strengthen and grow our Jungian Community, this Committee believes that it is perhaps wise to first attend to and to understand what is working and what is not working for all of us collectively. We are thus seeking your confidential input with the attached brief survey in order to consider and possibly implement your input in an effort to improve how our Community functions and to make sure its offerings serve the needs of all of its members. We are hoping, with the results of this survey, to better understand our community in a holistic way- both light and shadow, and to provide a mechanism to heal whatever wounds, obstacles, and divisions that have or might consciously, unconsciously, or inadvertently still divide us. We do know that such wounds, obstacles, and divisions exist in all communities. We also know that sticking our heads in the proverbial sand cannot heal them or make them disappear. So, call this a quest for truth and reconciliation. With a collective effort, we can and will work, Deo concedente, towards a transformation of our Community. In advance you have our sincere thanks for your confidential input, which will remain anonymous unless you indicate otherwise at the end of the survey.
