Nominees will be assessed based on the following eight characteristics:
1. Demonstrate leadership excellence through developing a vision for a stronger Brampton business community and inspiring others to work toward that vision.
2. Uses traditional and new communication techniques to engage the community and customers in an innovative way.
3. Provides an example of what can be achieved when working collaboratively to attain
a goal and demonstrates characteristics such as team spirit, combining talents of traditionally separate units, and/or partnerships with other businesses.
4. Exemplifies the spirit of risk and innovation, while growing their business and contributing to the vibrancy and diversity of Brampton’s Business Community through their achievements.
5. Contributes to the quality of life of the greater Brampton community by demonstrating that commitment and responsibility aren’t confined to Business and their impact can be social, cultural or environmental.
6. Helps support youth, newcomers or new entrepreneurs to thrive in our business community by investing time to mentor, teach, coach and develop excellence in others.
7. Promoting, exporting or importing their products or services internationally to bring Brampton to the world, and the world to Brampton.
8. Encourages a healthy workplace and understands that a culture of wellness is tantamount to supporting employee and business health by focusing on employee welfare and investing time/resources, the nominee has seen significant change and success within their business.
