The Greater Nashville Region Council is accepting applications for its Tourism Marketing Grant Program. This program is funded through the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and is open to members of the Middle Tennessee Tourism Council (MTTC) to support marketing activities.

Grants will be awarded based on funding availability to current MTTC members only. Each member is eligible to receive one (1) marketing grant per year. Grant funds may be used to cover allowable expenses up-to two-thirds (2/3) of the total cost, up to $600. Example: If the total cost of an advertisement for an event is $1200, 2/3 of the cost would be $800. Grant would max out at $600 for this expense. The remaining $600 covered by the applicant would cover the required match.
 
Applicants are required to provide proof of expenses for reimbursement. Funds must be used prior to June 2020. All required reporting must be submitted to the Greater Nashville Regional Council within 30 days of expense for reimbursement. *If you do not submit the required documentation within 30 days of expense you may not be eligible for reimbursement. 

Allowable Expenses include advertising and promotion costs such as printing and design, signs, web site development for promotion of attraction or event, marketing/public relation consultants, market research, marketing planning, and other marketing projects by prior approval. Grant funds may not be used for prize money, non-promotional items given away at an event, funding for speakers, facilities, food, transportation, or other logistics cost related to an event.
