About the Wall of Honor

The Herkimer and Oneida Counties Wall of Honor, located beside the Guardians of Freedom Memorial just off the New York State Thruway Exit 30, will stand as a lasting place of remembrance for the individuals who dedicated their lives to protecting and serving others in both times of piece and conflict. Through this tribute, we seek to honor veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters, and K9 heroes and their handlers whose courage, service, and commitment to their communities will be preserved through the memorialization of their names and, where possible, their faces for generations to come.

Please complete the following form to have your hero considered for inclusion on the Wall of Honor. All required sections must be complete for the submissions to be reviewed. Please submit only one nomination for each individual.

Applications are due by Friday, May 22, 2026.
