BCYMP New Mentor Application

Thank You  for your interest in volunteering with our 1:1, community-based youth mentoring program.  After you complete this form, the BCYMP Mentoring Coordinator will email you the training steps you'll need to take before we can match you with one of the K-12 students waiting for a BCYMP Mentor.  We will also ask you to complete a form that gives BCYMP permission to run a background check. Finally, after you complete your training, we'll ask that you come in for a brief meeting with our Executive Director to answer any questions you may have and to allow BCYMP to tell you about some of the students on our "Pending Mentee" list. These steps help us make the best possible Mentoring Match for you and your Mentee.

Also, we ALWAYS need more Mentors, so please share this opportunity and application with any caring, responsible adult you know who'd be willing to spend one hour a week with a K-12 student in need of guidance and support.

To the world you may just be one person,
but to one person, you may be the world.
