rad Scotland 2026 Application Form (Trainees) |
rad is a paid eight month traineeship within a Scottish independent television production company, mainly producing factual programming, which includes full training throughout the placement.
The programme is aimed at people who are underrepresented in the TV industry: those who are either deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent, from Black, Asian or minority ethnic communities or from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Please note, this traineeship is for people that are based in Scotland. If your application is successful, you may be required to work in a hybrid working mode. This may include working in office, on location or remotely. Interviews may be held via Zoom or in person.
There are multiple positions available across four roles:
- Development Researcher
- Production Researcher
- Production Assistant
- Edit Assistant
