Survey - Physical Activity and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in the Black Country

INTRODUCTION

Thank you for taking part in this important survey.

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has commissioned us, Engage Wellbeing Ltd, to scope opportunities for supporting children and young people's emotional and mental wellbeing through physical activity across the Black Country.

We want to understand how physical activity could be integrated into current Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) pathways and early support services for children and young people. A key priority is exploring how physical activity could improve access to services for children and young people who face inequalities.

The purpose of this survey is to gather your insights to help identify current practice, gaps, need, inequalities and opportunities for embedding physical activity into mental health pathways and services. We're looking for perspectives from a wide range of people who work with children and young people, whether in schools or through voluntary, community, faith or social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations.

Your responses will be analysed alongside other stakeholder input to identify key themes and recommendations for future strategy, commissioning and service provision across Black Country NHS Foundation Trust and the wider partnership.

This survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes. This survey will close Friday 30 October 2026, 11.59pm.

Engage Wellbeing will use your answers for the purposes outlined above only. Individual responses will not be attributed to you or your organisation by name in any reporting.
