Bookbug Session Leader Training is for anyone who want to deliver 30 min free Bookbug (song, rhyme and story) sessions to children age 0-5 years and their families

1.Have you attended Bookbug Session Leader Training before?(Required.)

Yes

2.You must be able to answer YES to the following questions in order to submit your registration:(Required.)

I am affiliated with an organisation, either as a staff member or volunteer, which will support me with running Bookbug Sessions.

I plan to deliver regular Bookbug Sessions

I plan to deliver Bookbug Sessions to groups of children (0-5 years old), with their parents or carers where possible.

I am over 16

I plan to start leading Bookbug Sessions within two months of my training course

I agree to abide by the Bookbug Session Leader Agreement

3.You must be able to answer YES to the following to confirm you have read and understood the training requirements(Required.)

I will regularly submit statistics from my Bookbug Sessions to Scottish Book Trust using the Session Data System (SDS)

I agree to abide by the Scottish Book Trusts code of conduct

I will ensure my Bookbug sessions are free for all families to attend

I agree to read the Child Protection Policy to check that I am able to meet all child protection requirements.

4.Ongoing contact with the Bookbug Programme

To monitor our training and the provision of Bookbug, we require all trainees to provide us with feedback and share statistics. To do this we will share your contact details with the Bookbug Coordinator in your Local Authority.

Bookbug Coordinators and Scottish Book Trust will only contact you about Bookbug training, Bookbug programme updates and to request your feedback.(Required.)
