The Town of Crested Butte is considering making Elk Avenue a pedestrian-only street for some or all of the 2020 summer in order to extend selling options for businesses while still allowing for physical distancing and helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Your input on this survey will help the council members determine the need and desire for an action like this and will give them an idea of how it would realistically look from the businesses' perspectives. Please note that this is only in the idea phase, and the Chamber will update businesses on any developments as they are made. We are also aware that County and State restrictions could change and render this plan unnecessary; we are exploring this in the event that businesses are not allowed to operate as normal this summer and will need additional space to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
