Please note this is a not a booking page and you must complete this form and go to the next page to book onto a specific date.

Bookbug for the Home training is designed for anyone working in the community to support individual families in their homes or as part of targeted work with small groups

If you want to deliver 30 min free Bookbug (song, rhyme and story) sessions to groups of children and their families then please click here to sign up for Bookbug Session Leader training instead of Bookbug for the Home.

2.You must be able to answer YES to the following questions in order to submit your registration:(Required.)

I am affiliated with an organisation, either as a staff member or volunteer, which will support my use of Bookbug for the Home.

I plan to use the Bookbug for the Home approach with children (0-5 years old), and their families where possible

I am over 16

I plan to start using Bookbug for the Home within 2 months of my training course

I agree to abide by the Bookbug for the Home Practitioner Agreement

3.You must be able to answer YES to the following to confirm you have read and understood the training requirements(Required.)

I agree to abide by the Scottish Book Trust's code of conduct.

I agree to read the Child Protection Policy to check that I am able to meet all child protection requirements.

4.Ongoing contact with the Bookbug Programme

To monitor our training and the provision of Bookbug, we require all trainees to provide us with feedback and share statistics. To do this we will share your contact details with the Bookbug Coordinator in your Local Authority.

Bookbug Coordinators and Scottish Book Trust will only contact you about Bookbug training, Bookbug programme updates and to request your feedback.(Required.)
