Thank you for taking Big Blue Bus' (BBB's) survey for proposed service adjustments to take place in March 2019. The survey results will help guide our decision making.
As part of our planning process, we will also be hosting three public hearings on September 5 (6-8pm) and September 12 (12-2pm; 6-8pm) regarding March 2019 service changes. To learn more about the public hearings, visit: bigbluebus.com/meetings.

The full survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. We invite you to only complete the sections that apply to your transportation needs, as that may require less time. Your feedback is valuable and we look forward to reviewing your comments.

Changes are proposed to Big Blue Bus in four areas:
  1. Route and schedule changes to adjust underperforming routes with light ridership, tradeoffs on how to address service in these corridors, and/or increase service where customers use it most.
  2. Minor fare change for Rapid 10 Express customers.
  3. Introduction of an on-demand pilot providing weekend service on three corridors (Routes 5, 15, 41, and 42) where ridership is too light even for smaller buses.
  4. Introduction of a pilot to test a shuttle service next summer that would operate from the Downtown Santa Monica Expo Line Station to the Santa Monica Pier.

The details of the proposed changes are provided in the questions below. We ask you to consider how these changes might affect you.
