Welcome!

Hello!

Thanks so much for signing up to lead a project for GO Local 2018 on the Richmond team.

If you have led before, you know how much fun it is and how God works through this event in the most amazing ways. Welcome back!

If you have not led before, we are so excited that you'll be joining us! We can't wait to meet you at the Kickoff Meeting and to see how God uses you to change our city.

TWO IMPORTANT THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE SIGNING UP:

1: MANDATORY KICKOFF MEETING/TRAINING:
The mandatory Kickoff Meeting for Richmond is:

Tuesday March 20th, from 7:00-8:30pm
Richmond
MARK YOUR CALENDAR NOW!

It's mandatory because the Kickoff Meeting is crucial to understanding why we do GO Local and also how we do it. We know from 12 years of experience that new Team Captains who attend the Kickoff Meeting clearly have the most positive experience and impact.

Due to the enormous scale and hard and fast deadlines we operate under during GO Local, there is no time to have a special makeup training or one-on-one personal on-boarding (don't be that person who asks for them).

If you are a veteran, you know all this to be true! At the Kickoff Meeting, you meet the other people on your immediate team, you receive crucial information and see how you are a part of something much larger than yourself. Plus, we love you and want to see you!

2: COMMITMENTS TO ORGANIZATIONS WE SERVE:

When you sign up to lead a project, we then (and not until) commit to an organization that we can serve them and do the project they are requesting.

If you sign up and then back out further down the timeline, Crossroads is still committed to the project but we have no leader and are in a completely different phase of the overall project. Not good. Not cool. Not Kingdom! Don't be that person either.

Letting our "yes" be "yes" (Matthew 5:37) is one of our core values at Crossroads and we want to live it out every day, especially in our commitments to our partners.

LEADING WITH YOUR SPOUSE OR A FRIEND?

This sign up form will allow you on the second page to sign up for a co-leader. PLEASE make 100% sure anyone you are signing up is committed. Changes later are a logistics nightmare so don't be that person either (see a trend? commitment is key!).

If you are ready to sign up as a Team Captain (we call project leaders Team Captains) which includes a commitment to attend the Kickoff Meeting and a commitment to complete your project with excellence, let's GO!
