Energy Efficiency/Green Training: This training will cover the costs and benefits of going green in your current space (heating and cooling systems, lighting, insulation, water use, indoor air quality, replacement windows). It will cover how to get your project done and how to pay for the upgrades including capital budgeting, revenue sources, rebates, payback periods from energy savings, and fundraising. (1 day)

Meeting the Safe, Healthy Indoor and Outdoor Environments Standard of QRIS: This training will include the physical environment standards for classrooms, gross motor rooms, and outdoor play spaces, including items in the environmental rating scales. It will help you set priorities and develop a plan to meet the standards. You will learn how to get your project done, how to budget for the improvement, and raise the capital funds needed. (1or 2 days)

Outdoor Play Spaces: Content includes discussion of high quality active play and/or natural play spaces, new EEC policies for outdoor space, and how to complete a project on time and on budget. You will learn how to use an architect and project manager and how to budget for the project and raise capital funds. (1 day)

Major Renovations or Construction of New Space: This training is designed for providers considering a large renovation or construction project. It will cover the details of the process and what you need to know to succeed, including a step by step guide to the development process and project management, cost estimating and capital budgets, capital financing, and capital campaigns. (2-3 days)
