At BAPS, refreshments will be served. There will be a break for lunch (on your own). There will be some maps of area restaurants available and a free pass to visit the JSM Exhibit Hall, where there are also vendors selling lunch items.

Note: To attend the BAPS workshop, you do not need to register for the Joint Statistical Meetings. You will be provided with a pass to visit the JSM Exhibit Hall, but this does not provide access to any other JSM sessions or events. If you would like to also attend the Joint Statistical Meetings (July 27 - Aug 1), you may register onsite or online. There is a discount JSM registration available for K-12 Teachers. Note: You may also choose to attend the high school session of the Meeting Within a Meeting (MWM) Statistics Workshop for Mathematics and Science Teachers intended to help teachers teach the increased statistics content in the Common Core State Standards. The MWM statistics workshop high school strand will be held on Tuesday, July 30. There is a separate registration fee of $50, which includes materials and refreshments. Optional graduate credit is also available. More information and registration for the MWM workshop is available at http://www.amstat.org/education/mwm.

Cancellation Policy: The program incurs substantial administrative costs related to your registration prior to the date(s) of the workshop. Written cancellations received in the ASA office by the registration deadline (July 15, 2019) will be charged a 20% cancellation fee. Cancellations received after the registration deadline will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within three working days and no-shows are nonrefundable. All refunds are processed after the workshop is completed.
