Call for Proposals

The Ending Violence Association of BC (EVA BC) is pleased to be holding our 2026 Annual Training Forum (ATF) on September 24 & 25 at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre. For this year’s ATF theme Power in Action: Collective response to the systemic crisis of gender-based violence, we are focusing on the knowledge and skills needed to respond to the systemic crisis of intimate partner violence and sexual violence.

We are inviting workshop proposals that will contribute to the success of our province-wide training event for anti-violence workers and community partners from across BC. We welcome proposals from diverse perspectives on risk identification and safety planning, navigating legal systems, emerging issues in GBV and approaches to supporting survivors.

Presenters may submit more than one proposal for consideration.

Proposals will be reviewed and approved on the basis of diversity of presenters, variety of topic streams, and training needs of participants.

We will be accepting proposals until 4:30 pm on Friday, April 3, 2026. We will connect with you in late April with our decision.

If your workshop proposal is accepted and included in the program, we are pleased to offer free registration for up to 2 facilitators per workshop, and a professional fee: $500 per 1.5-hour workshop and $750 per 3-hour workshop.

If you have any questions, please email us at atf@endingviolence.org.
