Why should I fill out this survey?
Recent UC Davis research on Delta governance shows that adaptation practitioners are looking to the Delta Stewardship Council (Council) to continue to lead collaborative, action-driven climate adaptation outcomes. One way to do this is through the development of a Delta Adaptation Work Group. This Work Group will be critical to implementing the Council’s recently adopted Adaptation Plan (Delta Adapts: Creating a Climate Resilient Future) and Tribal and Environmental Justice Issue Paper (Tribal and Environmental Justice in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta: History, Current Perspectives, and Recommendations for a Way Forward), which align with the Delta Plan and call for advancing equity in climate adaptation through intentional and inclusive actions that reflect a diversity of Delta community perspectives and needs. The Work Group could also convene and connect adaptation practitioners, highlight case studies and resources, and provide opportunities to coordinate around funding.

Please complete this survey if you are interested in learning more about, being involved with, or giving feedback to help shape a Delta Adaptation Work Group. Multiple people from the same organization may take the survey.
