1.Welcome to the 2011 IAHI Committee and Ambassador Application
Welcome to the IAHI online application for 2011 Committees and Ambassador Program! We look forward to getting to know you through the application process. This application is your opportunity to communicate your areas of interest and expertise. In the late summer, the IAHI Board of Directors and Committee Chairmen will appoint applicants to available Committee positions. Selected members will be notified by mid-September to serve a one-year term, commencing October 2010.
The criteria for selection are as follows.
To be appointed to a Committee, you must be:
1. An existing IHG franchisee with at least one open hotel
2. An IAHI member in good standing
3. Able to demonstrate strong quality scores at your IAHI member hotels
4. Willing to participate in IAHI educational initiatives and events
5. Prepared to commit the time to attend Committee meetings and participate in conference calls as required (IAHI Committees meet for two days approximately four times a year at various locations. Travel expenses are reimbursed based on established IAHI guidelines.)
6. For Brand Committees only - you must own a hotel of the brand for which you would like to participate (i.e., to participate on the Holiday Inn Committee, you must be an owner of a Holiday Inn brand hotel)
7. For Regional Committees only - you must own a hotel in the region (i.e., to participate on the Mexico Committee, you must be an owner of an IHG hotel in Mexico)
