Winhanga-rra (hear, think, listen) is a professional learning program for teachers in primary and secondary schools that explores processes and practices for engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture in an educational context.

The workshop focuses on community engagement and storytelling through contemporary dance theatre making, and consists of lecture presentations, discussions, and practical tasks related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures. The workshop is conducted in a way that brings each teacher’s experience, ideas and interests into the creative space.
