Arts and Humanities Research Council project Information for Participants

My name is Lindsay Dunbar and I am working with Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.  I am undertaking a research project funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

This study will investigate In what ways can rural creative hubs support the development of high-quality authentic, representative new theatre?

The findings of the project will be valuable because this could be the starting point of a much needed, wider discussion around the role of rural artists and the challenges they may face.

This research is being funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and Clore Leadership Programme.

I am looking for volunteers to participate in the project.  Participants will have an understanding and/or experience of the creative and cultural sector.

If you agree to participate in the study, you will be asked to complete a survey. The researcher is not aware of any risks associated with this lines of methodology.  The whole procedure should take no longer than 10 minutes. You will be free to withdraw from the study at any stage and you would not have to give a reason.

I will be asking for post-codes and professions to map the responses. This may indicate your identity to me but all data will be anonymised as much as possible.

The results will be published and presented at future conferences including but not limited to Edinburgh Fringe Festival Industry events.
