2021 COMMUNITY SURVEY

Now more than ever, community support for our organization and programs are critically needed. We have been uniquely positioned to directly impact change by swiftly mobilizing resources. With over 100 participants in last year's survey, United Way of Hernando County was able to focus on the needs of the community and as a result, continue to carry out its mission of local support with a heavy focus on programs that provided direct services to those most vulnerable. 

United Way would like to hear from YOU to openly discuss the barriers and needs Hernando County faces as the global pandemic continues to disrupt our local communities.

(ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. It represents a population of people who are working but whose salaries do not match Hernando's general cost of living. Basic costs like housing, food and gas can be difficult when one unexpected expense, like a car repair or medical bill, can tip them over into financial crisis.)
