NNAHRA Foundation Mission and Vision

NNAHRA Foundation Mission:
To provide timely and trusted information and resources to those serving and leading Tribal government and enterprises in areas of people management, employment policy development, and capacity building across Indian Country.

NNAHRA Foundation Vision:
Advocate, research, and educate in the name of Indian Country Human Resources to protect and honor tribal sovereignty and jurisdiction through meaningful employment practices.

The NNAHRA Foundation Professional Development Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to support attendance at educational conferences, training programs, certification courses, and other professional development opportunities. The program is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and leadership capacity of professionals serving Tribal governments, Tribal enterprises, and Native communities.

Funding may include registration fees, travel, lodging, meals, and other approved expenses. Awards are intended to remove financial barriers to professional development and promote continued growth within the Tribal Human Resources profession and workforce development community.

Preference Law & TERO Professional - 3 day program focused on Tribal preference law, TERO, and the practical application of preference policies in employment, contracting, and economic development.
