Survey introductionWe are inviting voluntary and community sector organisations, local authority services and primary care organisations and other stakeholders to help develop healthier neighbourhoods in Reading.
For this survey, a healthy neighbourhood means a place where people have the conditions, connections and support they need to live healthy lives. This includes housing, income, local environments, community relationships and access to health and care.
We want to understand what already works well; which needs and inequalities require greater attention; how organisations and residents can work together more effectively; and what practical action should happen next.
Please respond on behalf of your organisation, team or service, drawing on your knowledge of the communities you support. Your answers represent your organisation’s perspective; they will not be treated as a substitute for residents’ views.
Please do not include names or identifying information about patients, service users or individual residents.
Findings will inform the Reading Healthy Neighbourhood Plan. Stakeholders who contribute will receive a draft of the plan.
RBC, Healthwatch and RVA are working together to shape the community engagement and wider determinants elements of the plan. Email
advice@rva.org.uk for further information or questions.
Please try to answer each question even if just one or two sentences.
