Research, Innovation, Scholarship Entrepreneurship (RISE) Day

Valued faculty, staff, students and community partners are invited to submit an abstract for presentation during the upcoming Research, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Scholarship (RISE) Day 2019, proudly hosted by Georgian College's Department of Research and Innovation.
The goal of this event is to provide participants with the opportunity to present their research, innovation and scholarly activities to their peers, the public and the Georgian College community.
Abstracts are being accepted for:
• Big Ideas talk – A fifteen-minute verbal presentation of your research findings.
• Poster presentations – Present your research, in the form of a paper poster that conference participants may view.
• Book nook – Local author? Take part in our book nook by giving the audience a chance to hear you read from your book.
• Innov8 - An opportunity for students to present their research by technology demonstrations.
• Changemaker challenge #changethenow – Solutions presented from a social hack to help solve social isolation.
• Marketplace - Pop up marketplace for entrepreneurs to promote and sell products of their business.
The deadline to submit your abstract is March 29th.
