Question Title

Question Title

64. Is there anything about the Future Land Use Plan that you strongly disagree with or believe should be changed?

Question Title

65. What single change to the Future Land Use Plan would most improve Horseshoe Bay?

Question Title

66. Outdoor weather warning sirens. There is a push by the State of Texas to install warning sirens along river and lakeside communities for flood warnings and other emergencies. Our current system allows us to send specific messages by phone, email, and text to the areas actually affected by an emergency situation. Sirens will not replace the need for specific information on what to do (evacuate, shelter in place, situational awareness, etc.) Against that backdrop, since most of the city of Horseshoe Bay is residential, the siren placements would likely be in the middle of residential communities. Would you be in favor of sirens placed in such a manner, as an additional warning system to our current system? Why or why not?

Thank you for sharing your voice! Your input will be summarized and formally presented to the Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council as part of the public record for the Comprehensive Plan 2040 adoption process.
