Overview
Rockland County is accepting donations for survivors of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Donations are being accepted Thursday through Sunday from 12 pm to 8 pm at the Fire Training Center.
Volunteers are needed to collect donations at the Fire Training Center located at 35 Firemen's Memorial Drive, Pomona NY 10970

Volunteers will:
*Greet and direct people who wish to donate
*Organize Donations
*Other tasks as necessary
Organizing donations will likely consist of accepting, moving and storing items. This may include lifting heavy boxes, objects, etc. Not all volunteers need to be able to lift heavy donations, but it would be good to have a few "heavy lifters" on hand just in case.
If you are able to help this Thursday through Sunday, please sign up for any shift you are available for. Shifts are in 2-hour blocks, but volunteers are welcome to sign up for multiple shifts.
Once we receive your availability, we will contact you to follow up!
Thank you!
