San Bernardino County has begun the planning process for the following documents:
1) 2025-2030 Consolidated Plan; 2) 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan; and 3) Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice.
These documents, required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), are related to receiving federal grant funds through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and HOME Investment Partnerships program. These documents will identify priority needs related to housing, homelessness, public facilities and infrastructure improvements, public services, and economic/community development activities. They will also identify any fair housing barriers within the county.
A key component of preparing these documents involves hearing from members of the public on what the community needs to prioritize and what fair housing barriers are impacting your communities. The questions on the following pages are intended to serve these purposes.
Your responses will be kept confidential. We will only report this information in combination with the other survey responses and in summary format. Please do not place your name or other identifying information anywhere on the survey.
