Introduction

In response to the findings of the Ealing Race Equality Commission, there is a borough wide focus on raising the achievement of Black Caribbean, White and Black Caribbean and Somali pupils. ELP is leading the call to action and working with all Ealing schools to address the persistent under-achievement that has existed for many years.
In order to track the progress of our collaborative work around race equality, we are asking every headteacher to complete an annual Race Equality in Schools Survey.
At the end of this survey there is an opportunity to provide your name and school detail. This section is not compulsory, but it will help us in shaping our support programmes.
The results of this year’s survey will be used to review progress against the baseline position in 2023 and will be used to report on progress to the Citizen's Tribunal and to shape the programme for 2024-25. Data will be aggregated and will not relate to individual schools. The survey will be repeated on an annual basis.
Thank you completing the survey.
