* 2. We now have all of the volunteers we need for Set-Up and Cocktail Hour; please consider signing up for Dinner Service!


Shift 3: Dinner Service 4pm to 9pm
Volunteers ages 21 and up are welcome!
Volunteers will assist professional servers with a family-style dinner. Tasks include serving large platters of food, pouring wine and filling water, bussing tables, assisting guests and other duties as assigned.
A volunteer dinner and a special edition long-sleeved t-shirt will be provided.

* 3. All volunteers will receive a special edition Dinner on the Pacific Plate t-shirt when they arrive for their shift. Cocktail and Dinner shift volunteers are required to wear their t-shirt during their shift along with black pants or skirt, closed toe shoes, and with their hair pulled back.

Due to renovations underway, overnight housing at the Clem Miller Environmental Education Center in Point Reyes National Seashore is not available this year. For volunteers coming from a distance, consider booking a bed at the beautiful Point Reyes Hostel for only $35 per person per night, with an option of extending your stay before or after the event at the same rate. We suggest booking your lodging soon at www.pointreyeshostel.org .

Volunteer Service Agreement with photo release (required)

As a volunteer for Point Reyes National Seashore Association's (PRNSA) Dinner on the Pacific Plate, you are also volunteering for Point Reyes National Seashore through the National Park Service's Volunteers-in-Parks (VIP) program.

As an NPS volunteer, by completing and returning the VIP Volunteer Service Agreement, you are automatically covered for liability and workers compensation benefits. Unfortunately if you are not willing to complete and return the Agreement, PRNSA is not able to have you volunteer.

Your participation also benefits the volunteer programs her at Point Reyes by providing statistics tied directly to Federal funding.

The VIP Volunteer Service Agreement can be downloaded at http://go.nps.gov/1moj5l. You may either download the form to your computer and save it as an email attachment, or print a copy and complete it by hand. Next, send your completed form to PRNSA; see below for the multiple ways you may send your form to PRNSA.

Please be sure to read the three boxes at Line 33 of the Agreement, which include medical and physical limitations and a photo release. Unless you mark those box, you are stating that you have no medical and physical limitations and that you consent to being photographed and to the release of your photographic image.

You must complete and return the Agreement to PRNSA before October 6th.The completed agreement can be mailed, faxed or dropped off to PRNSA at:
