Aynho Parish Council
Aynho Parish Council’s role within the community is to represent the village and its needs, ensure continuity of key local services and, where affordable, improve the general look, feel and wellbeing of the village for residents.
Aynho Parish Council works with West Northamptonshire Council and the Northamptonshire Police Authority.
The Parish Council owns and maintains the sports field, pavilion, tennis court, children's play park, streetlamps, bus shelter and benches. The Parish Council is responsible for grass cutting and shares responsibility for general tidiness with West Northamptonshire Council. The Parish Council is a statutory consultee on planning applications but planning decisions are made by West Northamptonshire Council.
We periodically conduct a survey to help inform us when making decisions. Previous surveys were conducted in 2008, 2014 and 2020 and so, being six years since the last Survey, it’s time to update our knowledge of the village and its residents.
The 2026 Survey
The Survey is designed to be completed on a household basis and is completely anonymised. None of the answers given will give any indication of who you are or your individual address.
We do ask which street you live on, so we can be confident that all parts of the village are represented in the Survey's results and opinions. This is the only question that requires a response. Any of the others can be left blank.
Following the completion of the survey, and an analysis of the responses, the findings will be presented to Residents at a meeting in the Village Hall.
This survey consists of 39 questions divided into seven sections.
Please note that you have to click on the green "Submit Survey" to submit the survey, and you cannot edit your response after submission. Should you make a mistake please contact David Leigh on 07747 879430 or david.leigh@aynho-pc.gov.uk so he can edit or remove your response.
We would encourage all households to get involved by completing this Survey and thank you in advance for your participation.
Please only complete the survey once per household. The closing date for responses is 30 June 2026.
