Auer Avenue - Safe Routes to School Street Design Voting

Vote on what street improvements you want to see!

The City of Milwaukee is building a "Safe Routes to School" street improvements project around Auer Avenue in order to make walking and biking to school safer and more comfortable. City staff have worked with the Auer Avenue School community and the Wisconsin Bike Fed to identify safety concerns and come up with several design options for what can be built within the project's $75,000 budget.

This project may include changes like crosswalks, speed humps, traffic circles, pedestrian beacons, and curb extensions. Based on what we heard from the community, we've created three design options for you to review:

Design #1 - Blue: Slow down people driving by the school
Design #2 - Green: Make it easier to cross busy streets
Design #3 - Orange: 1/2 reduce speeding + 1/2 improve crossing

Please check out the rest of this survey to learn more about each option and vote on what you'd like the City to build!
