INFORMED CONSENT TO PARTICIPATE IN A RESEARCH STUDY



Project Title: Attachment Style and Its Effects on Relationship Satisfaction

This is a research project being conducted by Afia Azaah, Amy Chen, & Catherine Payne-Olgeirsson in the Department of Psychology at St. Francis College.  Please read this form before agreeing to take part in this study.

If you agree to be in this study, you will be asked to answer some questions regarding your relationship and your romantic experiences.

All answers will remain confidential and your identity will be protected should we publish our findings.

The risks in this study are minimal; your participation will require about 10-15 minutes of your time. In terms of benefits, this research is not designed to help you personally, but the results may help the investigators learn more about attachment and romantic relationships. We hope that, in the future, other people might benefit from this study through improved understanding of issues in romantic relationships.


You must be 18 years or older and in a romantic relationship to complete this study. 


Your participation in this research is completely voluntary. If you decide to participate in this research, you may stop participating at any time.
