This award recognizes the exceptional contributions of School Food Service and Nutrition Assistant Directors who help to manage effective programs that provide healthful, nutritious meals to students. This award is based on nominations.
Criteria:
*Employed in School Food Service a minimum of five (5) years
*Currently employed as an Assistant Director, Supervisor, Field Coordinator or Manager (with oversight over more than 1
*Currently employed as an Assistant Director, Supervisor, Field Coordinator or Manager (with oversight over more than 1
building)
*Member of ISNA/SNA for three (3) years
*Assisted with at least one ISNA state or regional workshop, served on an ISNA board or conference committee, or held a board
*Member of ISNA/SNA for three (3) years
*Assisted with at least one ISNA state or regional workshop, served on an ISNA board or conference committee, or held a board
position in a local chapter
*Involved in the school and community by sharing knowledge and food service expertise
*Holds the SNS Credential, has an SNA Certificate in Child Nutrition or has completed 20 hours of extended ISNA approved
*Involved in the school and community by sharing knowledge and food service expertise
*Holds the SNS Credential, has an SNA Certificate in Child Nutrition or has completed 20 hours of extended ISNA approved
training (within the past 5 years)
*Exhibits dedication, support, loyalty, and understanding of school food service programs
*Steps up and goes the “extra mile” towards excellence in his/her district

The award (plaque and monetary reward) will be presented at the Spring Seminar on April 29, 2016.
