* 13. The Secretariat has made a series of efforts to deepen its understanding of the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the implementation of the Convention, including in the field of CSSM. Which AI-related issues in CSSM is your country most concerned about?

As part of the CSSM tools development programme, the OPCW has released:

1) the Indicative Guidelines for Chemical Safety and Security in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) to Foster the Peaceful Uses of Chemistry in 2021, available here.
2) the Indicative Guidelines for the Transportation of Hazardous Chemicals by Road in 2024, available here.

At the moment, the Technical Secretariat (TS) is working on developing the Indicative Guidelines on Know Your Customer (KYC) in Chemical Suppliers, to be released in 2025.
