Arts Education Funding Survey: 2025–2026 School Year

The survey should be completed by someone in the school district or state who is knowledgeable about districtwide K–12 “music and arts” instruction and its funding. Consistent with current federal policy language, “music and arts” in this survey is inclusive of dance, media arts, music, theatre, and visual arts.

For several questions, it is recommended that you consult with district-level staff who oversee federal funding and would be best positioned to provide information about the amount and use of Title I, Title II, and Title IV-A funds during the 2025–2026 school year. Unless otherwise specified, please answer questions based on your district as a whole rather than an individual school or program.

The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. An asterisk* denotes a required question.
