Scholarship details

Argyle Scholarship

Thanks to David and Megan Laidlaw, the Argyle Scholarship is available to one Law, Engineering and Education student each year. The scholarship is awarded to students displaying academic merit and financial need from rural or regional Australia (Scholarship valued at $5000).

Open to first-year Master of Teaching students only. 

Application Process:
 
Please complete the following questions and submit any supporting documentation by 11:59 pm 30 January 2018. Please note that late applications will not be considered. Please submit supporting documentation via email to: mgse-experience@unimelb.edu.au. When emailing documentation, please put Argyle Scholarship - Your name and student number in the subject line of your email.

Students must submit an online Student Financial Assessment form and applications will be assessed and ranked by Scholarships & Bursaries (University Services) using the Student Financial Assessment process. Please note that if you are applying for more than one scholarship that requires the Student Financial Assessment form to be completed, that you only need to complete it once. 
 
Previous University of Melbourne students do not need to submit academic transcripts as we can access them for application assessment.
 
If your previous study was at an institution other than the University of Melbourne, you will need to email copies of your academic transcripts^ from that institution to: mgse-experience@unimelb.edu.au .

^Transcripts must be a copy of the official academic transcript (not an unofficial statement).  Certified copies may be required to be provided upon request.

Students must submit an online Student Financial Assessment form and applications will be assessed and ranked by Scholarships & Bursaries (University Services) using the Student Financial Assessment process.

*Examples may include family/ medical or disability circumstances, living arrangements, Government support details, etc.
*Relevant evidence must be emailed to: mgse-experience@unimelb.edu.au (e.g. Centrelink payments, medical documentation, letter from medical practitioner, public housing letters etc.)
