1. Introductory note

The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), in collaboration with various partners is organising the Caribbean and Pacific Agri-Food Forum from 02 – 06 November 2015 in Bridgetown, Barbados.

The purpose of this forum is to bring together diverse actors from the Caribbean and Pacific, who are part of the agri-food system, to engage in collective actions that can contribute to the transformative efforts of agriculture and the rural milieu.

To raise awareness on the event, engage on-site participants and reach out to a wider audience remotely, CTA would like to support the participation of some young social reporters for the online coverage of the event.

Interested candidates have to fill in this application form. Applications will be reviewed by CTA. 13 selected social reporters from the Caribbean will participate in a two-days' training on the use of digital media for social reporting. They will put their skills into practice, reporting on-site from Caribbean and Pacific Agri-Food Forum. They will also be awarded with a certificate at the end of the forum.

Other interested participants will be part of the larger social reporting team that will contribute remotely to the outreach of the event.
