A State Significant Development Application is being prepared for 700 build-to-rent apartments, a network of public and private open spaces, and retail and service offerings at 52-54 Pyrmont Bridge Road.

The proposal offers a wide range of community benefits, including:
  • 700 dedicated build-to-rent apartments, including 15% of the dwellings for 15 years as affordable housing
  • Car parking for residents and visitors as well as retail customers and staff
  • New, publicly accessible landscaped public spaces
  • A new supermarket alongside food and beverage, retail and service offerings
  • Partial retention and adaptive reuse of the heritage facade, celebrating the site's history and maintaining the local character
