Angus Rural Partnership was established in 2022 and aims to enhance the community of Angus by supporting community-led development and rural resilience. The emphasis is on ‘rural’ and can include both third/community as well as public and private sector support. ARP has a range of objectives including providing grants, sharing best practice, encouraging partnership, providing a voice for rural communities and organisations, and more.
Since its inception, ARP has supported many communities and organisations across rural Angus through Scottish Government-funded Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) activities. To inform the next phase of our development, we want to understand the authentic needs of the rural sector across Angus. Doing so will shape our priorities and influence how we engage with rural communities and organisations; in order we ensure the voices of rural Angus are heard and embedded in our decision making.
