1. Public Survey:  Andrew County
Multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan

Andrew County is updating its Multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). The goal of the HMP is to reduce the impacts of natural hazards by identifying potential hazards and developing mitigation strategies. This important planning process makes our communities more resilient and better prepared before a disaster happens.

Public opinion is important to the planning process. Your comments will help inform your community’s representatives who are on the HMP planning committee. By participating in this five-year update of the plan, your community will also remain eligible for mitigation funding programs from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
