There is no evidence that bias affects employment outcomes or opportunities in Canada.

Equity programs make a big deal out of race or gender and make it harder to treat everyone equally.

Our hiring and promotion processes reward merit, considering race or gender would mean sacrificing excellence

Equity programs are unfair to white people and to men, it is reverse racism/reverse sexism.

I don't agree with bias or discrimination, but people have a right to express their opinions.

This is all political and does not belong in discussions about education or administration.

I think it is important that we discuss these types of initiatives.

I wish we already had more of these initiatives in place.

I would like to learn more about personal actions that would help make my department more inclusive.

I would like to learn about equity initiatives that have been shown to be effective.
