With over 340,000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Hong Kong, which constitute more than 98% of the city’s business establishments and 45% of its workforce in the private sector, SMEs’ vitality and business performance are of crucial importance to the development of the economy. With this in mind, AmCham is seeking feedback from our SME community to understand their challenges, and how the Chamber can support the growth and health of their businesses. As different business has different needs and obstacles, AmCham hopes to identify the key areas of support for SMEs through the survey, which will form as a basis of a curated resources from AmCham’s corporate members to the SME community.
