1. All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center Volunteer Application

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with All-Options! At All-Options, we provide Hoosiers with open-hearted support across all of their pregnancy and parenting turning points. We offer free pregnancy tests and peer counseling, material support like diapers and baby clothes, abortion support and funding, and referrals to all kinds of community services.

* 2. Our current volunteer opportunities:

-Talkline Peer Counseling Advocates provide peer counseling support on our national toll-free Talkline. They must complete a 40+ hour training that takes place over a month (4 Wednesdays and 4 Saturdays). The next training will begin in mid-April 2017.

-Center Direct Service Support Advocates provide peer counseling support; greet clients at our front desk; sort and prepare baby clothes, diapers and toys; and distribute diapers to clients. They will go through a 1-day training. Extra training is needed for peer counseling. The next training will take place Spring 2017.

-Event/Outreach Support volunteers represent All-Options at fairs, festivals, and other community events. They also assist All-Options staff at events, such as fundraisers and diaper drives. They go through a 1-day training. The next training will take place Spring 2017.

* 9. For people interested in Peer Counseling ONLY (Events/Outreach volunteers may skip this question):

Peer Counseling Advocates are required to volunteer at least 15 hours per month at All-Options and/or through our national Talkline. All-Options Talkline hours are Monday-Friday, 10am-1am EST and Sat-Sun 10a-6pm EST.

* 11. The next Peer Counseling Advocate training will begin in mid-April 2017 in Bloomington, IN. Generally speaking, if accepted to the program, could you commit to attending a 40 hour training over a 1 month period (4 Weds evenings and 4 Saturday days), and then ongoing monthly meetings taking place the first Saturday of every month?
