The Albany Mobility Development Plan (AMDP) will develop a practical, implementable strategy for enhancing transit and mobility options throughout Albany by evaluating how fixed-route transit, flexible and on-demand services, mobility hubs, and complementary mobility programs can better connect residents to jobs, services, schools, healthcare, and other key destinations. Building on the Transportation System Plan (TSP), the AMDP will identify current and future mobility needs, establish a vision, goals, and performance measures, evaluate alternative service concepts, and develop an implementation roadmap that supports community growth, improves accessibility and equity, addresses key connectivity barriers and first/last-mile challenges, and positions the City to pursue future funding opportunities and mobility investments.
