The County is developing an Unincorporated Urban Forest Plan (UUFP), focused on the communities of Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward Acres, Castro Valley, Fairview, and San Lorenzo. The UUFP will help guide how the County cares for, protects, and grows the community’s trees in the years ahead. Your input helps us better understand residents’ values, priorities, and concerns regarding urban trees, tree maintenance, and County policies that govern tree care on private and public property. Your feedback is essential in shaping a UUFP that reflects the perspectives and needs of the whole community. By taking this survey, you’re contributing to the future of the County of Alameda’s urban forest.
All questions are voluntary and individual questions can be skipped if desired, though we appreciate you answering as many questions as you can. Survey respondents are anonymous, reported in group form, and stored securely and confidentially. You may choose to stop the survey at any time. At the end of the survey, you may provide an email address to receive updates on public engagement and informational events, as well as when the draft UFP is released for public comment.
