Thank you for your interest in participating in the Age-Friendly Working Group.
The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is currently developing an Age-Friendly Assessment and Action Plan to shape programs and services for those 55+ and to determine how Whistler can be more age-friendly. Age-friendly means having a community where everyone, including older adults, can live safely, enjoy good health, and stay involved in their community.
To inform this process, a working group will be created to identify priorities and potential actions to be incorporated into the Age-Friendly Action Plan.
The Working Group has openings for two community members aged 55+ to be part of the working group for this project. The first meeting will take place on June 16, 2021.
To submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), please complete the short questionnaire below. If you have previously submitted an EOI, we kindly request that you resubmit via the online form or by phone.

The deadline for EOIs has been extended to noon on June 11, 2021.
The Resort Municipality of Whistler is collecting your name, email and phone number in order to select candidates for the Age-Friendly Working Group and then communicate with this group going forward. Your information will be stored securely within RMOW servers and will be deleted one year after the completion of the project. The RMOW will be sharing your information with Cardea Health Consulting Inc. who will be responsible for contacting members of the Working Group. Your information is being collected through Survey Monkey and will be stored in the United States.
