Agriculture and Rural Communities Energy Incentive Application

Program Summary:  The Michigan Energy Office (MEO), will offer financial incentives to farms, agribusiness and rural small businesses for energy related implementation projects, recommended from energy audits and assessments.

Eligibility Requirements: Agricultural businesses; Communities, public entities, non-profits, and small businesses located in rural areas. Rural areas are defined using guidance from the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) as a reference.

Funding Amount: Maximum incentive amount of $15,000 per applicant. Awards will be given on a first come first served basis until funding is depleted.
