Agriculture and Rural Communities Energy Incentive Application

Program Summary:  The Michigan Agency for Energy (MAE), through the Michigan Energy Office (MEO), will offer financial incentives to farms, agribusiness and rural small businesses for energy related implementation projects, recommended from energy audits and assessments.

Eligibility Requirements: Agricultural businesses; Communities, public entities, non-profits, and small businesses located in rural areas. Rural areas are defined using guidance from the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) as a reference.

Funding Amount: Maximum incentive amount of $25,000 per applicant. Awards will be given on a first come first served basis until funding is depleted.
