“Offloading for the Prevention & Management of Foot Ulcers”
This advanced program will focus on outlining the critical first line role of offloading devices in the management of the acute diabetic foot. Despite international guidelines, offloading is not widely adopted into practice. This program aims to arm delegates with the skills, knowledge and confidence to integrate offloading into their high-risk patient treatment plans. The program will be targeted to delegates working in the high-risk, acute, diabetic foot environment.

- Total Contact Casting techniques
- Prescription & fitting of walker boots
- Prescription & fitting of offloading footwear
- Orthotic & chairside device options
The course will include a combination of theory and practical workshop sessions and is suitable for those currently working in the area of diabetic foot offloading.
