We are a team of researchers from KITE, the research arm of the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute-University Health Network in Toronto, Canada. 

About This Survey:

We want to learn about your experiences with accessibility in Canada. What are the main barriers to accessibility in Canada? Are there any barriers to accessibility that are not being addressed in existing standards, legislation, and guidelines? We also want to understand if and how these barriers may affect your overall quality of life.

The survey includes 20 to 27 questions and the time needed to complete the survey will vary. 

For the best experience, we recommend that you use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firebox browsers when you take part in this survey.

Who Is Invited To Participate:

  • Persons with a disability
  • Older adults, 65 years old and older, who do not have a disability
  • (Formal or informal) caregivers for a person with a disability
To take part in the survey, you must also be 18 years old or older and reside in Canada. 

Draw for Gift Cards:

At the end of the survey, you have the opportunity to enter a draw for a $40 gift card. A gift card will be issued to 1 person out of every 10 people who complete the survey. 

Alternate Formats: 

Paper versions of the survey in regular (12 pt.) or large sized (16 pt.) text can be sent to you in the mail. The survey can also be completed over the telephone with a member of our research team. Please contact Sin-Tung for more information.
